Long-time client Pentair Water approached our team with an opportunity to shape a new online service that merges the full range of their home products with convenient, online monitoring. By partnering with one of the industry’s leading technologies and platforms in Arrayent, Starkmedia was able to apply a design aesthetic and user experience that brought this connected product out of the basement and onto mobile devices.

We have experience working with some of the industry’s leading connected product partners, exposing our team to the latest in design and implementation standards. By utilizing partner vendor Arrayent’s Connect Platform, Starkmedia was able to deliver Pentair an attractive and highly functional connected product interface. Through close communication with the connected gateway provider, our strategic planning, design, development, and project management team members are able to understand and merge business goals with a variety of technology solutions based on budget and requirements.

The Virtual Water Assistant allows devices, such as a line of backup sump pump battery units, to be accessed remotely via mobile, tablet, or desktop. Homeowners are empowered to receive real-time performance and uptime data directly from their pump through a web app, email, and SMS vehicles, reporting outages and maintenance updates.
