Assignment
Previously, the user would be taken through a labyrinth of links to eventually gain access to a site that would allow them to donate. As a viewer-supported television station that depends on donations for maintaining its operations, they needed a direct an obvious way to allow those who wanted to support their vision to do so. Secondly, the site struggled to produce unity between each of its pages, lacking clear navigation, and discouraging its users from exploring the content. Lastly, they wanted the new site to enable them to remain relevant and current, simultaneously supporting their vision and values.

Solution
Starkmedia was able to address these challenges while providing additional opportunities for expanding online communication. We began by redesigning navigation to provide quick and intuitive access to the content, focusing on directing the public to outlets that support them through pledges, membership, planned giving, corporate support, and auctions. Among other improvements were adding video capabilities to inform viewers and pique their interest in their programming, including podcasts to educate and entertain, and linking to both Facebook and Twitter to ensure new marketing opportunities. Also, with the addition of RSS feeds MPTV is able to communicate current information regarding their organization and related topics more easily than ever before.
