Briggs and Stratton identified these key objectives for the new website: build brand loyalty, consolidate web properties, offer robust site search, provide education, deliver best-in-class support, and syndicate content.
The new site consolidates information that was housed on several sites providing the user with quick access to all information. The search window now indexes every facet of the site — from products to documents and articles to eCommerce — eliminating the need for users to search for information in multiple places. When searching through the products, the site also provides the customer with information to educate them on the benefits of Briggs & Stratton brand products. All information is easily maintained through the Sitecore CMS, therefore information is kept current on a timely basis.
Also, in the completely revamped shopping experience produced with InSiteCommerce, consumers can now lookup the correct part for their engine by Model-Type-Trim or Part Number. The interactive parts diagrams make finding the correct part easy.
